Former corporate exec, now serial entrepreneur

In the corporate world, I led commercial BUs, a strategy office, and arguably the world’s largest emission reduction project in shipping on behalf of MAERSK. Later, as MD of Operations, I led 250 people, optimized supply chains, and managed a $1 billion budget, ultimately ranking in the top 2% of Director talents at a Fortune 200 company.

My startup journey began as the founder of a digital two-sided marketplace, which required me to learn everything from scratch. I later built digital products and ventures with corporate industry players.

Over the years, I’ve worked with industry corporations on innovation, startups, and investing, and consulted shipping lines, terminals, governments, and investors with a focus on efficiencies, green transition, and digitalization, both independently and on behalf of BCG, McKinsey, and Kearney.

At RAINMAKING, I had the pleasure of being part of the small partner group that scaled it into a global venture-building and innovation company, which accelerated and invested in 950 startups. In our Venture Studio, one of the succesful ventures I co-founded is BOXHUB, today a high growth scaleup backed by top VCs and unicorn founders as investors. While in RAINMAKING, I co-founded, as General Partner, a corporate-backed venture capital fund, Motion Ventures. This fund is backed by 15 industry corporations + industry angels, and has made 26 seed-stage startup investments to date, alongside top investors such as Sequoia, YC and Insight Partners.

Over the years, I’ve served as Board member in various ventures, and therefore completed relevant education, specialising in startups/startups, today taking a hands-on approach to helping drive growth in such roles.

Today, through a deep understanding of corporations, investors, and startups, I contribute at the intersection in investments and collaborations.
